Robyn Maggs

I am the mother of two sons - both in their twenties - and love reading, time spent with family, and being in nature. I highly value the natural world and feel a deep connection to the earth and her elements.

For over 20 years I have been a qualified teacher, counsellor and therapist with experience working across a range of settings within the community. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults as a therapist in private practice and educational environments, as well as experience in providing support and guidance during a range of life transitions for individuals.

During the past 15 years I have also worked extensively with ceremony, engaging in, planning, and running ceremonies that support the human being as a holistic whole - mind, body, and spirit. Recognising each person as a spiritual being rather than simply one of mind and body, being highly skilled in relaxation and breathing techniques, possessing excellent communication skills, and being highly experienced in developing and maintaining personal relationships, are the skills that have laid the groundwork for my work as a Death Walker/ Death Doula.
