As a qualified Funeral Celebrant, I perceive this role either beginning at, or extending beyond, the moment of death.
As a Celebrant my support of the person and the family can include both the process of navigating the funeral industry or managing the challenges of
keeping a deceased loved one at home for a family vigil.
I am particularly interested in offering heartfelt, healing ceremonies of both honouring and farewell.
I am able to create personal ceremonies that fully reflect the uniqueness of the person being honoured and of the family/friends doing the honouring.
Undertaking negotiations with funeral directors and/or crematoriums can also be a part of this process.
Initial discussion/s
Our initial discussion will be a free no -obligation conversation that enables you to discuss
your options and decide if I am the right person to offer you the ceremony you wish for.
Once you confirm that you would like for me to be your celebrant, more in depth discussion/s will be shared to enable us to co-create a ceremony that is both unique and special.
This will allow as much space as wanted for family and/or friends to participate in the planning and running of the ceremony.
Availability
I am available for you to contact with questions or concerns at any time prior to the completion of the ceremony.
I believe it is important that you can connect with me regarding any inclusions or changes that you need to share / discuss.
Ceremony Booklet
I will arrange the printing of a ceremony leaflet or booklet that will meet the needs of family/friends and can be as simple or as elaborate as you choose.
I can also arrange the memories/personal stories book which again can be as simple or elaborate as you wish.
Further Support
If you choose to have me present at the committal, I can offer this service for either burial or cremation.
I will also ensure contact with you in the weeks following the ceremony to touch base and offer suggestions for further external support should you feel you have a need for that.
